We are looking for a full-time Senior Lync/Skype for Business Engineer to support a pipeline of new and existing Lync Voice and Skype for Business projects and help to build Unified Communications practice, providing comprehensive and effective collaboration through voice, video, and mobility technologies. This individual will be responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business solutions on-premises and support Skype for Business cloud implementations as part of Office 365 suite. Primary duties include the following:
Assist sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentations
Pre-sales facilitation of customer presentations and requirements gathering
Generates engineering requirements (including descriptions of requirements and solutions) for proposals
System and communication planning, design and implementation of Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business
At least 5 years of experience with full life-cycle implementation in Unified Communications technology to lead Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business requirements analysis, design and architecture in the planning stages of a project
Contributes significantly in a research role, with some direct client interface, to the development, review and presentation of product capability, best practices, proposals, implementation and support services, project planning, and risk mitigation.
Experience in Network and Security as it pertains to Unified Messaging and Unified Communications
Experience in Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 OS
Experience with diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving system and network related issues
of the Microsoft Lync/Skype for business Suite
Provides technical information to delivery engineers on implementation best practices
Deploy related technologies including network switches, routers, firewalls, server virtualization, storage, backup and security solutions as it pertains to Lync/Skype for Business
Create recurring revenue by providing high quality technical solutions and exemplary customer service
Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects, overseeing the work of others and being accountable for the outcome of the project
Performs voice readiness & contact center call flow assessments
Works with Account Management and Project Management teams to manage customer expectations, deliverables and satisfaction
Must also be able to work occasional weekends and on after-hours projects
Experience with O365 and Skype for Business Online is strongly preferred

You Would Be Great For This Position If You Have:
BS or MS in Computer Science or other science/engineering related field.
At least 5 years of experience with full life-cycle implementation of the Microsoft Lync/Skype for business Suite
Experience with O365
Experience in Network and Security
Experience in Microsoft Windows Server 2012 OS
Experience with diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving system and network related issues
Previous experience in Unified Communications technology to lead Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business practice and requirements analysis, design and architecture in the planning stages of a project
Ability to design, implement, and manage VoIP solutions, Microsoft Exchange, Unified Messaging Microsoft Server, and Windows Servers
Ability to design and implement Skype for Business mobility solutions (Microsoft Intune)
Strong technical background in the area of Microsoft infrastructure, Microsoft Active Directory, Networking, Storage, and Microsoft Windows Servers
5+ years related telecommunications experience
4+ years recent experience in a position where primary responsibilities included Voice and Video Platforms in a large scale environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and support commitments in a fast paced environment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

PBX/Telephone System and Peripheral Architecture (i.e. additions / replacements, Trunking and Data, Equipment Services Deployment, Special Projects, Disaster Recovery

Session Border Controller and media gateway experience (Audiocodes, Sonos)
Polycom voice and video integration with Lync/Skype for Business
Cisco Unified Communications Manager

Cisco Unity Connection and Video
