We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Accounts Payable Accounting Assistant in our Torrance and/or Riverside locations. Responsibilities include coding, inputting, and balancing Accounts Payable invoices and expense reports, filing, researching, payment posting and account analysis.


  • Code and process A/P invoices. * Code and process expense reports. * Input coded invoices and expense reports daily. * Assign new vendor codes. * Print AP checks bi-weekly-Obtain proper signatures. * Code and enter Direct Deposits into UBOC system. * Transmit and reconcile Direct Deposit payments through UBOC system. * Match assigned AP invoices/expense reports to checks and mail weekly. * File paid invoices and expense reports. * Respond to vendors’ inquiries regarding status of payment. * Respond to inquiries from internal departments & follow up as required. * Process/update system for manual checks. * Analyze and reconcile assigned GL accounts monthly. * File monthly journal entries for Finance dept. * All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years accounts payable experience, 10-key adding machine, type 40 wpm, basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software. Accuracy, flexibility, and strong work ethic.

SOFTWARE: Microsoft Excel, Outlook, AMS Sagitta, and UBOC for Expense Report Direct Deposit.
