Salesforce is Elevation Solar’s backbone and after 4 years it’s ready for an overhaul. We’ve matured our business model, and we are pursuing aggressive goals that require a stronger foundation. Initially, our new team member will coordinate and lead the iterative re-architecture of our existing Salesforce instance: enhancing security, Implementing Products, simplifying our Opportunity, consolidating finance, and creating/removing custom objects as needed.
The Salesforce Architect is a new, on-site position in the small but growing Elevation Solar Information Technology team and will wear several hats. In addition to owning system design & re-design, you will create and maintain systems administration; assess and implement additional systems, products, and features; perform custom development (as needed); and design and build systems integrations with partner systems. You will work closely with Salesforce admins, our QA lead, Elevation Solar business partners, and the rest of the IT team to craft solutions. You will educate the CTO on your intentions, and work with other business leadership to optimize, configure, and customize technology resources to meet the organization’s mission.
We need a high-level thinker that can visualize holistic solutions but make no mistake, this is a hands-on job. It requires critical group-based problem-solving, elegant planning and detailed execution. Following Salesforce best practices, our instance is heavy on configuration and light on customization. We’d like to keep it that way. Elevation Solar’s technology infrastructure is cloud-based. You will be wholly responsible for maintaining and improving our Salesforce CRM, the backbone of our operations.
