As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) VP of Retail Pharmacy Operations, you will work dnder the direction of and in collaboration with the President and/or Senior Vice President, Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy Services, leads the development and successful implementation of outpatient pharmacy services to ensure a client’s strategic, clinical, operational, and financial goals. The Vice President of Retail Pharmacy Operations is expected to build strong collaborative relationships with other key leaders and professionals within Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS), client leaders, and other key stakeholders in the organization. In addition, s/he will engage with senior leaders, client, and key stakeholders to ensure the optimal utilization of technology. This position maintains responsibility for providing strategic planning, skill development and direct leadership to the Directors of Retail Pharmacy Operations, and indirect leadership of the Retail Pharmacy Team, oversight of field utilization of temporary resources, supports new business, including the specialty pharmacy program and consulting and is responsible for achievement of the Retail Division budget to plan. This position will report to the Division President or Senior Vice President.

Required Qualifications:
BS Pharmacy
Current pharmacist license in good standing
5+ years of multi-site outpatient or retail pharmacy management required
Strong understanding of operations including Lean processes preferred
Strong understanding of Human Resources and Budgeting
Experience using computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and pharmacy information systems
Strong knowledge base of state and federal laws regulating retail pharmacy
Strong business acumen with an understand of profit and loss statements
M.B.A. preferred
Ability to travel away from home up to 60% of time including some weekends and evening travel
Must be able to meet company standards for a MVR
