The primary duties of the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Intern is to prepare drawings, layouts, and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software and under direct supervision of other designers or professional staff. This position is for a summer internship at our Omaha, NE location.

The right candidate shall be enrolled in a college program relevant to the position and will have CAD training or experience. Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Primary duties will include: revision of construction drawings from engineers’ mark ups, plotting drawings for check prints, and assembly of drawings sets for submittals.


Required Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in a drafting or design program relevant to the position
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and building modeling software
Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Revit training
3.00 GPA or higher preferred
Preference will be given to local candidates.
Familiarity with structural drawings, architectural drawings, mechanical drawings, and electrical drawings is a plus.
