The Georgia Department of Public Health is the lead agency entrusted by the people of the state of Georgia with the ultimate responsibility for the health of communities and the entire population.

The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Administrative Services/Fee Room Associate within the Division of Chief of Staff Section/VITAL RECORDS.

Job Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Administrative Services Manager, this position provides data entry for mail and fee room operations and provides support to ensure accurate processing of fees and timely mail and email correspondence.

Job duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews mail requests and attached document(s) to verify correct administrative required fee and justification for the requested transaction.
Identifies, compiles, sorts, organizes, and records appropriate data.
Enters all data required to ensure proper process flow leading to the search of records by vital records teams
Distributes and collects mail and prepares packages for pickup by USPS and specialty delivery services.
Stamp date and time of receipt on incoming mail.
Document status of complex search requests into tracking system.
Stores documents in secured area, destroying as required.
Performs complex searches for documentation across multiple files sources, entering data into automated system as appropriate, to support the department's ability to quickly and accurately address mailroom requests.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Serves on special project teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college AND One year of related experience


Three years of related experience.
