The Job:

SecureData.com is a leader in hardware encryption storage and data security services. We are looking for a creative UI/UX designer. As a UI/UX designer on SecureData Creative team, you will play an integral role in SecureData’s websites development process, working in partnership with Creative Director, Videographer, Copywriters, Marketing Strategists, and Software Development Engineers to create world-class websites and mobile apps. You must have the ability to actively manage multiple web-based projects, work under tight deadlines while consistently delivering quality results.

In this role you will…

  • Plan and implement new simple, intuitive and scalable UI/UX design solutions that service users around the world
  • Optimize existing user interface designs to create effective solutions, test for intuitivity and experience
  • Create and manage detailed user-interface specification and design patterns
  • Communicate with internal partners to understand business goals and objectives
  • Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
  • Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
  • Create prototypes for new product ideas
  • Use business requirements, technical requirements, user and market research, to rapidly prototype solutions for testing, re-testing, and ultimately informing high-level requirements for production

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

  • 3+ years of experience as an UI/UX designer, preferably with experience in computer technology system related project or products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, or in an equivalent design related field
  • Experience working in a collaborative team, working directly with creative designers, software development engineers, marketing managers and other business stakeholders
  • Experience and evidence using best practices for mobile and web-based information architecture and design, and knowledge of usability principles, techniques and/ or cases which support them
  • Knowledge and experience using, collaborating, and managing design production software and libraries: Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Jira, Trello, Zeplin
  • Ability to accurately map, wireframe and present comprehensive end-to-end user journey maps/stories
  • Excellent UI/UX design portfolio
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Software Development (WordPress, HTML) experience a plus
