*This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ near Portland, OR. In-office expectation is 3 days a week*.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The SOREL Senior Email Marketing Specialist is an important member of the SOREL Global Brand Marketing and North America Ecommerce team, responsible for owning and marshalling the comprehensive email strategy to foster consumer loyalty, increase retention, deliver on sales growth objectives, and increase consumer lifetime value.
The person in this role will contribute to the growth, profitability, and innovation of SOREL.com through the strategic development of email messaging inclusive of marketing, triggered, and operational email programs. This role will maintain and enhance our existing email marketing and messaging strategy with a focus on increased segmentation, relevancy, and qualified email database acquisition that achieve brand, consumer, and commerce performance goals.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Develops, manages, and executes email marketing calendar across all email tiers including timing, cadence, promotional, and segmentation plans
Partner closely with internal Creative, E-commerce, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to craft messaging strategies and content in support of seasonal initiatives and business goals.
Analyzes and interprets email campaign performance, leverages insights to make directive, proactive recommendations related to email strategy and programs.
Provides regular reporting views for weekly, monthly email campaign performance across the full email program.
Leads and develops audience and messaging segmentation strategies to drive increased personalization and grow incremental sales revenue within channel
Own and activate email optimizations and testing plans to drive improvement across engagement KPIs and sales goals in the email channel.
Work closely with data analyst to track and enhance testing agenda to continuously improve the email program
Monitor marketing trends in and around email to bring new strategies and tactics to SOREL
Develop Email sales and acquisition plans and track Email performance goals including weekly, monthly, yearly forecasting responsibilities.

YOU HAVE
Bachelor's Degree with preference to concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, Ecommerce, and/or communications.
5+ years’ experience of progressive responsibilities leading email strategy and conversion optimization initiatives within B2C/DTC retail and/or an innovative, consumer brand that includes.
Experience using data and insights to inform requirements, ideas, and strategies with hands-on experience with web tools including CMS (SFCC, Adobe Experience Manager), A/B testing tools (Monetate, Dynamic Yield, Optimizely), site analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), and other business intelligence tools (Power BI). Experience with Emarsys and or Bluecore ESPs a plus.
Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with the ability to manager multiple, competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency.\ Experience influencing senior leadership and quantifying results for consumption by various levels within the business
