The Manager of the House Coordinators and Float Pool provides the oversight of the daily operations of the House Coordinators as they coordinate patient care activities within the hospital on an assigned shift or tour of duty. In the absence of the President and/or his designated representative, the House Coordinator serves as the highest official on duty, and is responsible for ensuring the continuity of patient care services and other administrative activities. The Manager also manages and supervises the Float Pool staff.
Graduate of an accredited school with a B.S. of Nursing. Seven (7) years nursing experience, with at least five (5) years in a supervisory capacity. Good written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, management principles and methods, and hospital policies and procedures. ACLS Certification required. Critical Care experience or relevant experience required.
