Marketing Director, Advisory Services

The Advisory Services Marketing Director is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy for the company's Advisory Services. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this person will play a key role in helping the company grow and achieve its business objectives. Productize our service offerings, act as an evangelist to build awareness and understanding of those offerings, create content for sales outreach, drive new advisory service definitions and launches, and support those service offerings through outbound communications, content generation, and sales support.

What You Will Do:
Build the Advisory Services marketing function at Lighthouse. Design, implement, and consistently look to improve marketing strategies to help drive brand awareness, compelling messaging and new opportunities.
Drive GTM strategies in close collaboration with sales, content marketing, and other teams to ensure successful service launches.
Oversee implementation of the marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, etc. for new and existing services.
Establish strategy around and criteria for conference selection and presence.
Lead development of brand positioning and messaging for new customer segments.
Establish, track, and report on effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and branding efforts and, in response to analyses, adjust marketing efforts and recommend adjustments in sales strategy.
Maintain awareness of competitors and emerging trends in marketing and advertising through industry.
Partner with the Channel team to develop programs and increase efficacy of channel strategies.
Develop the sales assets and training materials (i.e. training materials, sales pitches/presentations, battle cards, datasheets, case studies, white papers and playbooks).
Deeply understand key buyer personas and use cases.

What You Will Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or Communications and/or graduate work in one of those fields, or equivalent.
At least 10 years of experience in the legal or consulting services market and 7 years of experience as a Marketing Manager (or similar title/functions).
Technical expertise required to interact with engineering and product management teams around product design.
Superior verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to build credibility and confidence with diverse customer audiences including executive management, attorneys, eDiscovery personnel, and technically savvy project managers.
Ability to be a thought leader on both business and technology issues related to our services.
Strong project management skills and the ability to keep multi-faceted, cross departmental launch plans on track.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
A curious and inquisitive mindset.
Capable of building structure based on high level requirements.
Demonstrated ability to execute as an individual contribute and willingness to do what it takes to achieve the common objective.
Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.
