Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage front of house, while upholding incredible customer service among our staff; provide service that’s friendly, down-to-earth, accommodating and aims to cultivate regulars.
- Manage and motivate restaurant employees; assign duties, server sections before lunch and dinner, and conduct pre-fuction briefings.
- Greet customers, manage expectations during long wait times and seat accordingly.
- Ensure efficient restaurant operations; drive sales, maintain profitability and set and meet quality goals.
- Lead by example and be willing to help in all aspects of the business; provide a hands on approach with event setup and assist staff as needed, to maintain smooth flow during busiest times.
- Build relationships with customers; handle and resolve guest concerns and complaints immediately and professionally.
- Adhere to all cash handling, cash management and cash register policies.
- Assist with catering orders for pick up; take orders, provide suggestions and guidance to customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ of management experience in fast-paced, high volume restaurant
- Self motivated and driven to exceed expectations
- Desire to work in a team oriented environment
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills and passion for hospitality
- Knowledge of food and beverage; Aldelo POS experience is a plus
- A flexible schedule (mix of mornings, nights, and weekends…plus holidays)
