The Finance Organization

Corporate FP&A Team
Move beyond reacting to change and help drive and manage it. This role will be part of the FP&A Capital Planning, Transformation and Reporting team. As a Manager Investment Analytics you have the opportunity to drive better business partnering and insights, while growing your leadership and interpersonal skills. You are considered a business partner and your contributions will make a difference.
This role is data and analytics focused within the Capital FP&A team, which includes the following responsibilities:
Communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
Work with the Business Unit FP&A teams and Business Intelligence CoE to bridge data inputs and outputs in order to collectively develop models to maximize capital investment for major programs
Assess the impact of strategic financial decisions across Business Units and present to leadership.
Assess capital requirements, develop capital plan and provide recommendations on capital allocation.
Design, develop and implement methods and strategies to continually improve processes and capital decision making for major strategic initiatives.
Support business units and prepare for Council (senior executive) review and decision making.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics any other related discipline. Or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of predictive and prescriptive analytics, data mining and machine learning a plus (Python and R).
Experience with Data Visualization, particularly creating dashboards and executive reporting (Tableau or other).
Knowledge of the tools, technologies and practices needed to perform in-depth analysis of both structured transactional data, and semi-structured or unstructured data.
Even better if you have:
Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Technical knowledge and experience within the technology or Telecom industry (e.g. network, IT, media, products).
Product management experience.
Project management experience.
Change management experience.
A professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA).
Strong strategic skills, with the proven ability to identify and assess key points, implications and recommendations.
An advanced knowledge of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes.
Demonstrated in depth knowledge of common business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis.
Experience developing business cases and determining the Total Cost of Ownership
Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.
The ability to understand and manage social systems and influence / manage stakeholders.
Executive presence and presentation experience.
Financial modeling experience.
Business analytical skills; ability to apply business logic to design techniques for desired outputs.
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast changing environment with changing priorities and changing time constraints.
Ability to interpret business requests and communicate findings in an intelligible manner.
Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
A strategic mindset and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to effectively challenge.
A high degree of analytical capability with the demonstrated ability to structure business case around a high-level strategic vision
