Desktop Metal is pioneering a new generation of additive manufacturing technologies focused on the production of end-use parts. The Senior Financial Analyst will be working closely with various stakeholders and finance leadership to provide timely and effective forecast data, analysis, and recommendations to help make business decisions to drive the company toward its strategic goals. This position will be a key contributor in the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term goal setting processes. This role will also assist in management and external financial reporting.
Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely annual budgets, monthly forecasts and strategic analysis in support of Desktop Metal's long-term strategic priorities
Collaborate with key stakeholders to review financial performance and to understand changes in the business that impact the forecast.
Assist with preparing monthly and quarterly management reporting packages.
Play an active role in support of SEC reporting, quarterly earnings releases and Board of Director meetings
Engage functional business leaders to provide timely and relevant financial information and analyses to enable sound decision making.
Build and maintain complex financial models to support corporate decision making
Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar subject area, MBA a plus
Minimum of four+ years of financial analysis experience
Ability to partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
Experience in high growth environment, preferably public companies
Excellent communication, analytical and quantitative skills, including high level of attention to detail and a willingness to lead change
Possesses exceptional organizational skills and a willingness to manage multiple projects within a deadline driven environment
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Experience with Infor (Syteline) ERP System and Prophix, a plus
