HPE Composable Fabric (Plexxi) is pioneering next generation networking with a State-of-the-Industry Datacentre networking platform for addressing the ever-increasing demands of a new IT era.

As part of this exciting journey we have a unique & exciting opportunity for an energetic PreSales Engineer/Architect to champion HPE Composable Fabrics (Plexxi) within the Telco, Service Provider, and Federal space. Based remotely, this role will be structured within the HPE Composable Fabric team & report into the HPE Composable Fabric PreSales Director.


Role Responsibilities:
Help maintain HPE’s credibility & customer/sales satisfaction by developing trusted relationships with customer stakeholders throughout sales cycle
Attend Customer/Partner meetings, perform demonstrations & Proof of Concepts
Participate in deep-dive discussions & evaluate customer's current business needs & desired end-state infrastructure solution to translate the technical view into the implementation view & determine implementation steps necessary to meet complex technical requirements
Actively support & collaborate with the account sales teams for solution advice, proposal responses, presentations, & other customer communications
Work in tandem with Sales Specialists to formulate account strategies & fulfil sales goals
Work effectively with Channel Partners to identify gaps & address needs to accelerate channel business
Understand & maintain knowledge of the competitive environment & competitor’s strategies

Experience, Skills & Attributes Required:
A minimum of 5 years + Pre Sales &/or technical consultative selling & engagement experience
Experience in the telco and service Provider space
Advanced Networking & Software Defined technical skills & knowledge
Familiarity with competitive SDN vendors/products such as Cisco (Cisco ACI), Nuage Networks, Big Switch Networks. Plexxi (now HPE Composable Fabric) highly regarded
Experience with VMware/Hyper-V
Broad understanding & working experience with hyper converged, compute & connectivity technologies & wider integration in the Data Centre
Strong working knowledge of DB’ & Operating Systems such as SQL, Oracle, Windows & Linux
Demonstrable experience working on complex engagements throughout the sales cycle
Ability to talk about technical subjects & deliver technical presentations or training to audiences with both technical & non-technical backgrounds
Ability to articulate the business outcome & ROI of a solution to all stakeholders up to C-level
Possess various personal traits such as: - high energy, personable, flexible, self-motivated, trustworthy, friendly, dependable, excellent follow through skills
Education and Experience -

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or from technical university.
5+ years of experience in technology industry with focus on technical consulting and solution selling.
Knowledge and Skills -

Expert technical understanding of assigned solution set and knowledge of leading edge and emerging technologies.
Expert knowledge of company offerings, strategic initiatives, current trends, competitor products and strategies within the assigned solution set.
Strong project management skills or experience with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including appropriate due diligence.
Expert level written and verbal communication skills and mastery over English and local languages.
Experience participating in solution configurations/ overall architecture design and the creation of PoCs to meet customer requirements.
Has successfully completed knowledge-based as well as one or more experienced-based industry certifications.
Demonstrates expert consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling etc.
Expert knowledge of different types of partners and products, relevant to assigned solution set, understanding of company's regional 'Go to Market' strategy.
Knowledge of company business and technical tools and standard CRM systems and tools.
Advanced experience with social media, blogging, and related information sharing technologies.
