Secret Food Tours is an award-winning tour company immediately looking for outgoing individuals who are passionate about food, traveling, and history to lead foodie tours through the Georgetown area.
This role is a lot of fun and a perfect fit for applicants with a flair for entertaining and a love of great food. Our guides lead small groups of tourists through some of Georgetown's best eateries while sharing history and culture along the way. This is the perfect job for performers of all types, teachers, historians, college students, and more!!!
Our ideal candidate is:
- Professional, responsible, and great with both time and money management.
- Must be over 21 years old.
- Passionate about Washington DC, its history, its culture, and most importantly... its food!
- Outgoing and dedicated to providing a once-in-a-lifetime guest experience.
- Able to memorize a tour script and route while making it their own.
Secret Food Tours offers competitive pay with a flat rate of $70 per 3 to 3.5 hour tour plus tips (which are frequently VERY generous!!!).
Our tours are scheduled on weekdays from 11 am to 7 pm, as well as on weekends from 12 pm to 7 pm.
We are currently looking to hire 1 guide with availability, especially on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Tours may also be assigned on other days of the week.
Qualified candidates should demonstrate CONSISTENT AVAILABILITY during the desired period.
Additional shifts may be available at alternate times based on private and group bookings.
