The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate strong critical-thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and a high level of initiative and resourcefulness while producing high quality work in a fast paced environment. It is critical this person can understand complex business processes related to the financial management of the loyalty program. This position will assist all colleagues working on Hyatt’s loyalty program with budgeting and forecasting programs revenues and expenses. They will work closely with other finance and loyalty operating groups to bring together a holistic view of the health of the financial operations of the program.
Responsible for the accurate budgeting and forecasting of program’s revenues and expenses
Provide monthly quantitative and qualitative updates on key financial metrics. Including variance analysis of revenue, expenses, point issuances, revenue per point, cost per point etc.
Monthly monitoring of program financial operation metrics including retro requests, transaction processing, manual processes etc. with the goal of reducing cost associated with these items
Assist the loyalty team in making business cases for program initiatives. Including defining the financial structure and impact of new initiatives
Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes
Serve as the finance point of contact for the loyalty marketing team

Three or more years’ experience in financial analysis, related field, or course work
Bachelor degree required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Intermediate skills for other Microsoft Office applications required
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to produce actionable recommendations
Experience with data mining a plus
