Main function of job:
To establish and formalize an effective distribution sales channel. To identify, recruit, develop
and grow our existing distribution network in the Americas. To research,analyze, and identify commercial opportunities to grow sales in the Bio-science
and Food & Beverage sector. To collaborate with colleagues (executive, leadership, and peers) to develop new products. To contribute to the
strategic planning and execution of all sales, marketing and public relations activities.
Lead PFG’s recent expansion into the sales of disposable polymeric and membrane filters and drive market and territorial growth
Understand the commercial and socioeconomic trends driving the industry and pursue leading strategies to keep PFG on pace with leading developments
Direct internal product development programs to keep PFG current with emerging technologies
Identify, design, develop and implement market-driven strategies to achieve revenue goals and the company’s mission.
Work with the Sales team to increase PFG’s customer base by adding end users, and intermediaries such as engineering and construction companies, distributors, and private label customers
Identify potential strategic partners, alliances and relationships to expand core product lines or bring new product lines to the organization
Oversee marketing programs and partner channels that increase the company's revenues.
Once established, drive growth of PFG’s filter products in the Bio-science and Food & Beverage market
Serve as the subject matter expert in support of the sales team
Promote a customer-oriented focus and advocate consultative customer relationships.
Develop and maintain high-profile external relationships within customer constituents, professional organizations, etc.
Other responsibilities as defined and agreed by Porvair.
BS Engineering desired. MBA is preferred.
>5 years’ proven leadership experience in sales / business development in the Bio-science and Food & Beverage industry with a complex manufacturing company.
Demonstrated track record of building business.
Proven and verifiable history of increasing revenues to meet benchmarks and company goals.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Keen interpersonal and customer relations skills.
