The Derry Surgical Center is located in Derry, New Hampshire and is a free standing ambulatory surgery center. Located just a short drive from Manchester, NH and close to the Boston Metropolitan area, Derry is close enough to enjoy the benefits of a big city and far enough away to enjoy the other benefits of NH such as the lakes, mountains and beaches. The Derry Surgical Center will be providing surgical services including GI, GYN, ENT, Podiatry, and General Surgery.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
The Perioperative (OR) Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the achievement of patient outcomes through implementation of critical pathways and in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the facility.

Clinical Quality- Assesses, plans, and evaluates and ensures the implementation of patient care to achieve identified outcomes and delivers safe patient care according to the facility policy and procedures

Financial – Provide input regarding equipment/supply needs; contains costs; works within budgets; completes periodic inventory counts
Has successfully completed the program at an accredited school of nursing with a current state nursing license.
Experience in ambulatory surgery nursing, at least two (2) to five (5) years of nursing and management experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center is desired.
Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS)/Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification. Successful completion of ACLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
Successful completion of PALS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation or current PALS certification.
