JOB TITLE: General Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a result driven General Manager to be responsible for the overall store management of Freshly’s Market. The successful candidate must have Management and Grocery retail experience and will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage the team effectively. Candidate will have the most success if they have a background in financial planning, employee recruitment, or retail management.

Core Responsibilities
- Overseeing the purchase “Log process” that the Company currently used to maintain knowledge of the store’s weekly gross margin results
- Ensure that Operations processes are managed accurately
- Working with the team to establish promotional displays and in store specials
- Negotiate with vendors in order to achieve the store metrics and goals of food cost
- Achieving the overall Revenue and Sales Target
- Inspire, coach, and develop team members
- Oversees the daily workflow of team, assigning responsibilities to ensure efficient operations and manage labor
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
- Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
- Responsible for the ongoing training and development of both managers & hourly team
- Provide continuous coaching and training to enhance the team's sales performance.
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales team
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
- Resolve escalated complaints from the team and the customers
- Minimum of three years in Grocery Management
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications or Requirements
- BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field, preferred
- Proven successful experience as a retail Store Manager
- Powerful leading skills and business orientation
- Customer management skills; Strong organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Paylocity, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Current BLS certification
- Recent Physical and TB Report within past year
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
