Full Job Description
Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment, process and training.
Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.
Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.
In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for, but not be limited to:
Responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.
Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way.
Responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.
May be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals.
May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Possess an associates or bachelor degree or Mechanical or Technical Certification or related manufacturing experience of 6+ months or equivalent military training.
Candidate must be willing to:
Work a night shift compressed work week schedule.
Candidates must have the ability to work on a compressed work week schedule.
Shifts are twelve hours long and rotate from three to four days a week, Shift 4:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday every other Saturday nights
Work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves.
Lift up to 25 pounds (lbs.), and spend the majority of time (Greater than 90% less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, walking 3 to 5 miles a day, and/or standing and/or sitting for 9 - or + hours.
6+ months of prior experience in the following areas:
Electronic and/or avionic experience.
Knowledge in electronics or digital circuitry.
Experience with end-user computer skills and navigation, schematic and/or wiring diagram reading, electronic systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
Experience with testing, repairing and troubleshooting faulty electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics, technical data and test equipment.
