Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding various metal components to create structures or products. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Must have flux core welding experience.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications
- Operate welding equipment to assemble and weld metal components
- Use various techniques such as soldering, brazing, and welding to join metal parts
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
- Perform basic math calculations to measure and cut materials
- Use hand tools and machinery to shape, cut, and grind metal parts
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting welding specifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of different welding techniques
- Ability to rig materials for welding operations
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and machining processes
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to build and assemble metal structures based on specifications
- Excellent welding skills with attention to detail
