Our Sales Operations team is at the heart of developing sales processes and procedures for administering, fulfilling and communicating both online and offline orders. A bridge between sales and other operational functions, we use our peerless expertise to evaluate and implement improvements to sales programs and processes – from planning and prioritization to pricing and margin strategies, sales automation, reporting and more. Put simply, we make sure the process of getting our ground-breaking products and services to customers as simple and seamless as possible.
The Sales Operations Sr. Analyst will be part of a highly visible team which contributes to Lead to Cash Sales program within the organization.
The Sr. Analyst will work with the Global Sales Operations Team to provide post-sales operational support for Dell EMC's Maintenance Renewals Business unit.
The Sr. Analyst will also work with the Global Business Operations Team to improve processes through data analysis, research, and studies.
Under the supervision of the Advisor, the Sr. Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's business intelligence needs by implementing data management, reporting and analytics solutions.
The individual will participate in gathering business needs, documenting requirements, identifying data sources and data elements, developing Business Intelligence components, and delivering solutions.
The individual will also be involved in data and report interpretation and the design and implementation of data warehouse, dashboards, scorecards, and interactive reports.
The role requires cross functional communications, detailed analysis, and focuses on delivering a positive sale’s, customer & partner experience.
Supports operational support to maximize sales force productivity and continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes through simplification and automation.
Facilitates product and sales information flow through detail analysis of disparate data across multiple business units.
Contributes to sales operations process improvements based upon tangible data.
Researches data discrepancies across sales opportunities, and delivers solutions working cross-functionally to resolve.
Liaises between the Sales organizations and various finance and operational teams; may serve as a interface with other internal functions, based on BU and/or product management requirements.
May be responsible for influencing sales behavior and capabilities.
Collaborate with business users in the design, development, and deployment of new or improved application processes
Forecasts, models, and utilizes advanced analytical tools
Develop understanding of business issues and data challenges of the organization and industries
3 to 5 years in consultative / process analyst role with the ability to gather, write and document requirements
2-5 years of In-Depth experience in the Structure Query Language (SQL) or demonstrated experience from work performed
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Hands on experience with BI tools like Tableau
Functional experience with packaged software applications specifically within integrations and customizations, consulting industry preferred
BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science or Business or related field
Highly personable and able to communicate clearly and build strong relationships across the business unit
Exhibits confidence and knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with strong organizational & time management skills
Detail oriented, self-directed, with strong problem-solving skills
