The Sr. Manager, Regional EHS will develop and implement EHS strategies to support to LM Wind Power operations to world class EHS performance on the global supply chains footprint. In this role, you will be responsible for LM Wind Power EHS in region Americas.
Essential Responsibilities:As the Sr. Manager, Regional EHS, you will:
Partner closely with operational regional head
Analyze the process and programs in order to improve Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) throughout GSC Operations
Lead and conduct strong operational review with each operational site
Partner with all operation leaders at P&L and site level in order to support GSC development and strategic changes
Own compliance process for regional GSC operations
Support TOW and restructuring process inside GSC fixed facilities
Support GSC site for Capex identification, approval and execution
Support P&L Leaders and GSC Sites EHS Leader to ensure consistency, quality, rigor, on time and efficiencies reporting for Business Consolidation
Lead strategy and implementation program among business / regions, influencing business regional leaders
Demonstrate strategic and tactical knowledge to deliver excellence and drive continuous improvement / compliance
Provide leadership, support and technical guidance to LM HQ team to assure programs are developed and effectively implemented providing safe and healthy working environments for employees worldwide, and to protect the environment from the adverse effects of environmental contaminates and hazardous wastes
Improve existing EHS programs through simplification and align with GE programs, regulatory requirements
Understand regulatory changes, trends and forecast business impacts
Manage and guarantee the proper onboarding for new sites or extension
Support sourcing and contractor qualifications process
Be a talent developer manager for the region on the EHS function
Bachelor's Degree in Environment Health & Safety (EHS), Engineering or related Science discipline from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 10 years of EHS experience
Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience with exposure to several EHS areas in projects / manufacturing / services / operations environment
Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time
Practical experience in risk elimination, project management
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Strong leadership and influencing skills
Takes initiative with a global mindset
Fluent in English, French and Danish
Strong program management skills
High energy, self-starter
Excellent PC skills
