Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating manual machines to fabricate parts according to specifications. We will discuss pay with each person.
Duties
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate machining
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations
- Operate manual machines to fabricate parts as needed
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks when required
- Knowledge of CAD software for programming machining operations
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes
Experience
- Proficiency in operating manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations related to machining processes
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing Lean manufacturing techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
