Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Construction Project Architect, we'll count on you to:
  • Represent a multidiscipline architectural engineering team during construction projects
  • Negotiate, interpret documents and be a team player
  • Conduct meetings with clients, contractors and our project representatives
  • Conduct project observations to determine the progress of the work and general compliance with contract documents
  • Coordinate and assist with providing clarification and enforcement of construction documents, including processing of contractor requests for information
  • Assist owners in the preparation, review and processing of change orders to construction contracts
  • Obtain, process, document and maintain records relevant to a project, including but not limited to claims, change proposals and change orders, request for information, correspondence, payment application, contract documents, and other related documentation
  • Demonstrate knowledge while performing QA/QC reviews
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience with field representation positions during construction
  • Architectural Registration
  • Proficient in use of Revit and familiarity with related tools and process
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Experience preferred in the areas of healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilities
