TELEWORK/ON-SITE OPPORTUNITY
This position is eligible for telework opportunities. Telework must be completed from a pre-designated home-based location within the State of California and employees may be required to report on-site to address business needs. Telework is at the sole discretion of the Court and may be rescinded with 48 hours' notice, based on needs of the Orange County Superior Court.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Under general direction, the Senior Business Systems Analyst provides lead work direction and guidance to other business systems analysts and performs complex and specialized work involved in policy and procedure development and planning and conducting the analysis, design, testing and documentation of new and existing complex automated systems; works with other business systems analysts, application managers and development teams to achieve business objectives; represents the needs of the Court with vendors and external partners; facilitates development of priorities with managers; and performs related duties within area of assignment.
SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Four (4) years of full-time (or equivalent) experience in business or systems analysis, requirements gathering, operational or system documentation development and/or process reengineering, with at least two (2) years of full-time (or equivalent) which was at the level of the Court’s classification of Business System Analyst III.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
At least six (6) years of business or systems analysis, design, operational or system documentation development and/or workflow analysis/process reengineering experience

At least six (6) years of experience in project lifecycle management, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment- .
At least two (2) years of recent experience leading teams or managing stakeholders.
At least five (5) years of technical experience in Oracle or Microsoft SQL databases and the ability to write SQL queries- .
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders- .
Proficiency in software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent oral and written communication skills- .
