This employee will report to the Director, Human Resources
The position is responsible for supporting the human resources Site Leader and Generalists in administering policies and programs in several of the following areas: LOA administration, facilitate and support the payroll process, employment, compliance, basic employee relations, wage and salary administration, training and various HR-related programs.
The Research Triangle Park (RTP) facility is Catalent's Center of Excellence for Analytical Services and is also home to Catalent's Inhalation franchise including product development, clinical and commercial manufacturing for pMDI, DPI and Nasal Sprays.
Performs data entry in Workday (e.g., shift structures, new hires, PTO allotments, etc), generates data reports and troubleshoots the timekeeping system (Kronos), conducting periodic audits.
Supports payroll as primary liaison with Finance Operations, and third-party Shared Service organization.
Serves as site super-user (SME) for Workday (HRIS), Kronos (timekeeping) and ADP (payroll) systems
Processes new hire paperwork and terminations, including exit interviews.
Coordinates with EH&S on Worker’s Compensation Cases and random drug testing program (i.e., scheduling, etc.).
Provides routine support for site-level benefit and payroll questions
Prepares and maintains personnel files on site.
Ensures new hires are onboarded with respect to HR systems and paperwork up to and including New Hire Orientation (NHO)
Oversees the distribution and usage of PTO throughout the year.
Assists HR Director and Generalists in data collection/analysis for various projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities preferred; High school diploma or equivalent is required
Must possess at least 1-3 years of human resources experience
Knowledge in Workday (HRIS) is required
Prior experience working in the pharmaceutical/manufacturing/medical device industry is ideal
