Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as iSeries / AS400 Systems Support Advisor. In this senior level AS/400 role you will perform IBM iSeries administration, including system installs, PTF deployment, software installation, configuration, custom development and security. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups. Execute performance analysis and system tuning for optimum performance. Perform problem isolation, definition, resolution and follow-up for system, application and customer problems. Recommend changes in system and application maintenance and standards. Install, upgrade, configure, test and maintain 3rd party software applications.
- 3+ years’ experience in the OS support of iSeries (AS400).
- 3+ year’s system support in a production environment.
- Experience with iDoctor, CCSS, SQL (DBMON) and Performance Navigator (MPG)
- Available for on-call scheduling, providing outstanding customer service
- Experience with MIMIX, Vision Solutions Enforcive, and Robot Scheduler
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred
