The Server is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. This position provides an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience conforming to The Alida standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. Servers anticipate and service guests needs before being asked and are knowledgeable about all available menu options, beverage lists and daily specials. This position reports to the Director of Restaurant & Bars.
Responsibilities:
The Server will be responsible for setting up tables, serving food and beverage to guests, and clearing tables while working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Be the point person relating to communication with guests, including the menu and all other requests of their tables.
This person will also be serving and clearing food and beverage items to tables.
Contribute to our environment with a positive and friendly attitude.
Communicate with team members to ensure the highest level of personalized service.
Comply with The Alida Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in the Team Member Handbook.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Previous serving experience strongly preferred
Strong command of the English language
Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service
Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States
Excellent customer service skills with great enthusiasm, superior interpersonal skills
Previous experience in Food & Beverage preferred
Able to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
Strong food & beverage knowledge preferred
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays
