Job Summary:
Complete responsibility for directing the Quality Management Department for CHP and Covenant Accountable Care Organization. This position requires collaboration across the institution, including medical officers, senior leadership and physician members, to achieve strategic goals. Data collection, monitoring, analysis of trends related to outcomes, improvement plans and reporting are key processes.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for all identified outcome measures as denoted on Performance Assessment.

Manages the department including personnel budget, and all other processes to ensure accomplishment of strategic goals for the department and the company.

Participates in strategic and regulatory initiatives by monitoring indicators and by providing data, information, recommendations, and analysis of trends associated with major institutional and physician membership processes.

Develops action plans to improve identified opportunities.

Facilitates work groups and improvement teams.

Collaborates on all clinical quality initiatives for CHP and Covenant ACO including at-risk and shared savings contracts.

Assists others in the use of quality improvement tools measurement techniques, reporting methods, statistical interpretation, and analysis of trends to monitor and continuously improve processes.

Additional Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as assigned.

Represents Covenant Health Partners on Providence St. Joseph Health System (PSJH) Committees.

Assists in the development and revision of administrative, medical staff, and departmental policies and procedures

Minimum Position Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a health care field or Bachelor’s Degree in other field with 10+ years clinical experience in related field

Experience : 10+ years in a large, multi-functional health care environment. 2 years in a supervisory role. 2 years quality improvement responsibilities.

Training : Quality Improvement Tools, Basic Statistical Principles.

License/Certification: Registered Nurse

Preferred Position Qualifications:
Previous Experience in a Manager position

Information Systems design training

Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ)

Experience in Meaningful Use attestation and all government clinical quality initiatives.
