InterVision is seeking a Systems Engineer L3– Collaboration (Post-Sales Systems) to participate in engineering projects for client companies. This is a field, customer service, facing role. This position will assist with requirements gathering, solution designs and system implementations working on a team with senior engineers, project management office, sales team and the customer.
Qualified candidates will have experience, implementing and/or supporting Unified Communications and Collaboration Solutions.
This position reports to the Director of Post-Sales Engineering – Collaboration
Do you have the Right Skills and Experience for our Team?
5+ years designing, implementing and supporting Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration technologies
5+ years designing, implementing and supporting Network Infrastructure (switching, routing, firewall) from any vendor
Self-starting and fast learning
High degree of organization and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible work schedules (weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs)
Ability to thrive in sales driven, pay for performance environment
CCIE Collaboration/Voice Certification desirable
CCNP Voice/Collaboration Certification
CCNP Routing and Switching or equivalent from other vendors. Strong Networking skills are required.
Quality of Service for voice and video traffic on LAN and WAN Devices
Cisco Collaboration Edge (Expressway, CUBE, Digital Gateways)
Cisco Customer Contact Solutions, including IVR scripting
VMWare for Unified Communications
Basic networking services (LDAP, NTP, DNS, CA)
Cisco Webex Hybrid and Collaboration Cloud services
Cisco Video Endpoints and Infrastructure
What GREAT things will you be doing?
Lead and implement small to medium scale projects, i.e. projects of less than 100 hours, based on the scope of work defined.
Execute projects and service tickets based on InterVision’s project methodology, i.e. Planning, Design, Implementation and Support.
Create advanced level technical documentation for projects and service tickets based on given requirements.
Create and teach end user training content for customers and respective projects.
Participate in customer-facing presentations and assist with delivery of technical solution overviews.
Develop detailed implementation plans to ensure smooth and effective migrations to new technology and new versions of existing technology.
Solve and troubleshoot technical issues related to the technology domain of the engineer, including service down situations
Plan and organize the execution of projects, keeping in mind the overall goal of the project and budgets.
Contributes as an engineering team member in providing technical consulting services for Information Technology projects.
As a member of a project team, design and execute project plans for system builds, migrations, integrations and customization while accounting for risk and forecasting technical issues at the direction of systems engineering.
Assist Engineers to support InterVision’s sales for Lead end-user clients to include hardware and software configuration development.
