SCAD seeks a Director of Industry and Alumni Engagement to help SCAD students and alumni land their dream jobs.
In this position, you will develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive industry and alumni relations strategy. You will assess programs and events that increase the SCAD employment rate, advance student and alumni career success, strengthen industry partnerships, and connect with the global alumni network.
The ideal candidate has experience developing strategic partnerships with internal and external constituents, a comprehensive understanding of art and design industries and related student career development, and the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-adapting environment. Additionally, you can professionally represent SCAD to companies across diverse industries; communicate and collaborate with university leadership, students, and alumni; possess excellent collaboration, leadership, and interpersonal skills; and have supervisory experience with a demonstrated proficiency in analyzing information management systems and other web-based technology.
Strong budget management, presentation, organizational, and project-management skills are essential, as is professionalism in attire and conduct.
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
- Ability to establish metric-driven industry- and alumni-engagement strategies to meet the evolving needs of SCAD students, alumni, and industry partners
- More than five years of progressive experience in business development, career services, recruiting, talent development, or related industry
