Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Research Associate/Research Associate to join our the Vector Development group to advance Rubius’ transforming Red Cell Therapeutics gene delivery technology. The initial focus will be on lentiviral vectors production, which may evolve to include other gene delivery technologies.

Job Responsibilities

Previously demonstrated hands-on experience with:

  • Mammalian cell culture, transfection, flow cytometry, DNA/RNA isolation, qPCR, and other common molecular and cell biology techniques.
  • Viral vector, vaccine or virus production and analytical methods.
  • Design, execution, troubleshooting experiments, and analyzing data.
  • Maintaining electronic laboratory notebooks, writing SOPs and study reports, and presenting data.

Education & Experience

  • B.S. or MS. in Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering or other related fields with minimum of 2-year laboratory experience.
  • Excellent bench skills with attention to details and high standards for data integrity and quality.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Highly motivated with a clear sense of urgency and focus on providing transformational therapies to patients.
  • Industry experience in the cell and gene therapy field preferred.
