About Engility:
Engility is currently seeking a Technical Director who will be assigned to the Intelligence Solutions Group (ISG) to collaborate with Business Development, Capture and Operations. This position will be responsible for technical oversight in supporting and delivering multiple mission-critical services and is a direct report to the Vice President of Operations, ISG.

The Technical Director is responsible for collaborating with BD, Capture and Operations to identify, shape and capture new business that will leverage are existing contracts to capture high end development contracts that align with our current operational contracts.

Engility provides advisory services with emphasis on technical analysis and planning, operations research, requirements specification, systems engineering, test and evaluation, technical acquisition and planning, and program management. The ISG services and solutions are integral to the missions of our customers.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Work with technically diverse and distributed teams to provide technology, architecture design and system review supporting new business capture.
Provide comprehensive strategic roadmaps based on technology trends and business needs, as well as strategic marketing messaging and themes.
Provide expertise on technologies and innovative technical solutions that will differentiate Engility pursuit offerings.
Lead the approach and shaping activities for the Capture Management strategy and execution to qualify new business opportunities within the ISG pipeline
Support large strategic bids including development of technical solutions and win strategies
Provide leadership and execution of effective capture plans utilizing established internal tools and processes
Support Corporate BD CONOPS and implement Engility BD culture - Translate requirements into robust win strategy, carefully tested and validated, and advances strategy to management and technical design with strong value proposition and differentiated bid elements based on compelling features and benefits
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to sustain operational excellence, resolve conflicts, and achieve customer satisfaction
Coalesce with ISG team members, BD, operational leadership, and SMEs to build and execute call plans to position Engility for successful pursuits
Must gather and assesses, and validates customer requirements working closely with BD leads - identifies related customer needs and constraints that impact winning solution
Conducts and participates in gate, pricing, teaming, and capture reviews; leads and documents lessons learned
Will be required to collaborate and build win-win partnerships externally with customers and within a firm/corporation, with a particular focus on understanding how to create competitive discriminators in a highly cost-competitive environment
Evaluate probable competition and their relative technical strengths and threats - conducts Black-hats, competitive scenarios, etc.

Description:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant technical, or professional field of study
Requires 10 or more years of leadership in the Intelligence Community
Position requires the management and leadership of winning capture teams, effectively collaborating with assigned assets, subject & technical matter experts, functional leads, and Program Managers
Must be able to identify gaps and develops strategies to overcome weaknesses and mitigate risks
Proven track record in defining strategies that enable the successful capture of new business
Solid network and extensive customer knowledge in the client base with proven ability to build new and existing business leveraging connections at NSA, and more specifically with the NSA Development community.
Must have the ability to identify emerging trends resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management
Must have demonstrated proficiency in developing and qualifying new business opportunities
Demonstrate the ability to influence constructively and interact at the highest levels of the corporate structure.
Ability to travel, as needed
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and business acumen
Ability to deliver and willingness to provide effective coaching, mentoring, and training
Confidence and experience dealing with senior executives; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time sensitive, and often multi-tasking environment
Analytical, critical thinking is a required attribute

Qualifications:
A proven history and bias for action and an orientation towards solving rather than solely identifying problem areas is a preferred characteristic of the ideal candidate.
