Position Description/Opportunities in R&D:
The R&D function works with other members of our organization (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Regulatory) to ensure that our products are manufactured and marketed safely and efficiently.

Mechanical Engineers or Materials Science majors are needed to work in packaging development, which involves understanding consumer needs, investigating future technologies and designing and developing functional and cost effective packages across all of Clorox's brands. This would include consumer testing, mechanical and chemical performance testing and package component qualifications both in laboratory and on-site at vendors and Clorox manufacturing plants.

OR

Chemical Engineers are needed to design and develop new processes and/or improve on current processes for new and existing consumer products. This would include laboratory and pilot plant testing of various unit operations at the Clorox Technical Center in Pleasanton and scaling up of the process on-site at Clorox manufacturing plants.
