Job Description
A by G Therapy and Consulting Services is a private speech and language pathology practice located in Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas. We are currently looking for a full time therapist for a school placement asap. This position allows for work during the summer as well treating clients such as adults, children, early intervention, and/ or stand alone evaluations. The ideal candidate should be passionate about therapy, possess great people skills, and be a team player. This position is very flexible and can be built to your preference of clients within reason.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete evaluations and plans of care for children and/or adults with speech, language, swallowing, and fluency disorders
- Educate and collaborate with families to provide effective therapy
- Complete all documentation and patient correspondence in a timely manner
- Continue education in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (Required)
- Alabama Speech-Language Pathology License (Required)
- Interest in mobile therapy
- Ability to collaborate with therapists and work independently with families
- Effective and timely communication skills
- Great customer service skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
