We are a multi-state, members-only, concierge healthcare company and we are exploring an expansion of services to include concierge pediatric internal medicine.
In the role of a Pediatrician you will provide concierge primary care to our pediatric patients. You will conduct thorough examinations, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, administer vaccines, and provide guidance to parents regarding their child’s health, development, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations of infants, children, and adolescents.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
- Monitor growth and development and provide vaccinations and preventive care.
- Prescribe medications and treatments and manage ongoing care for chronic conditions.
- Educate parents and guardians on health maintenance, disease prevention, and child development.
- Offer guidance on topics such as nutrition, safety, and behavioral issues.
- Address and discuss any concerns or questions parents may have about their child’s health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.
- Document patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
- Work with the Medical Director and clinical team to maintain and implement policies, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care.
- Partner with fellow providers to deliver comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with the Care Navigation team to refer patients to Medical Partner Specialists when necessary.
- Coordinate with local hospitals for patient admissions and ongoing care as needed.
- Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and their families by addressing their questions with patience and professionalism. Use empathetic, patient-centered communication to foster trust and comfort throughout their care journey.
- Performs related duties as requested
Experience
- Medical Degree from an Accredited Medical School.
- Physician state license and ability to practice in New York
- Board certified with the American Board of Pediatrics required.
- 3-5 years' experience as a pediatric physician in a hospital or physician practice.
- DEA license required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $135.00 - $160.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
