We’d like to welcome a part-time Marketing Assistant to our marketing team, 15-20 hours per week. The position supports daily marketing operations and projects that help the Credit Union continue to be successful by growing and deepening Member relationships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the receiving and distribution of orders in the Marketing Department’s internal ordering system, including giveaways, letterheads, packets, envelopes and inserts.
  • Responsible for mailing, assembling, and distributing marketing and Credit Union materials.
  • Assist with distributing employee apparel and business cards.
  • Assist in branch merchandising and updates.
  • Assist with departmental direct mail including mail merging, labeling and stuffing envelopes.
  • Prepare holiday items annually for distribution to clients.
  • Support member and staff events, including our LBS CARES volunteer program and Annual Adopt-a-School program.
  • Maintain the department’s filing system, as well as the library of samples such as advertisements, promotions, free press, forms and other printed communications.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, advertising or related experience preferred.
  • Office or clerical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills – including ability to multi-task, manage time, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, positive problem-solving attitude.
