T. White Parker is seeking a motivated IT Solutions Architect with a solid understanding of technology systems and cloud computing to include SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS. The Solutions Architect is responsible for developing and coordinating cloud architecture, cloud adoption, and developing a cloud strategy and coordinating adoption. Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process.
Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
Develop and organize cloud systems.
Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.
Communicate technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
Guide infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application, transfer into the cloud.
Meet the strategic needs of the company successfully by Identifying the top cloud architecture solutions.
Partner with the Enterprise Architects and develop solutions that align with the strategy and architecture heading of the organization.
Propose technologies and IT solutions that meet mission needs.
Evaluate IT architectures and infrastructure frameworks (e.g., networks, hardware, systems)
Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related discipline
Seven (7) or more years of relevant professional experience
Prior federal government consulting and team leadership experience (non-DoD strongly preferred)
Ability to provide strategic guidance to clients at all levels
Exceptional written and oral communications skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, driven, quality-focused self-starter, and a team player with a high level of situational awareness
Ability to effectively interface with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to adapt to dynamic, fast-paced environments
Ability to perform complex and routine tasks with speed and accuracy
Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint skills
Ability to work in the U.S. and obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
Experience with application development: (e.g., Middleware, COTS integration, API development)
Experience with cloud computing (SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS)
Familiar with DevOps
Knowledge of IT Modernization
Experience with Data Management Strategy (e.g., cloud migration, cloud analysis)
