Work directly with and reports to the Director of Information Technology to create and update the New York Film Academy (NYFA) websites.

REPRESENTATIVE REPONSIBILITES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The day-to-day duties required of this position may vary.

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using Dreamweaver
Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Work with developer to test new features of the web pages
Develop test plans and test cases
Document processes and changes
Generating reports from Information Systems as requested
Other duties as requested by management

KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
2-3 years of proven working experience in web programming
Proven working experience in QA for web
In-depth knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, Jquery.
Familiarity with Photoshop
Very strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
MUST be very detailed oriented
You love setting up frameworks and love giving input on how to re-organize roles and responsibilities to improve QA
You're motivated to automate as much of QA as possible - and love researching new ways to do so
Nothing gets by you - you understand a complicated product deeply and think of all the edge cases
Proactive - you love giving feedback and strive to build a better product
Not afraid to think
You are a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, or related field.
1-2 years of experience with web programing
Full-Stack Web Development Certification
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites – Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Experience using Dreamweaver
Experience in Quality Assurance (QA).
Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking results driven environment with attention to detail.
Time management skills to assure job tasks are completed.

Office environment.
Sit for long/high periods of time to perform various computer/administrative tasks.
Reasonable dexterity of hands and fingers to operate and/or manipulate computer keyboard and other office equipment.
Lift, carry, push and/or pull documents/boxes weighing up to 20 lbs.
Verbally and effectively communicate utilizing face-to-face contact and telephones.
