Job Summary: As a key member of the West Division Sales & Marketing Analytics Team, this position is responsible for leading business analytics for Marketing Strategy. In this fast paced environment the position directs a highly technical team of managers and analysts focused on supporting acquisition, upgrade, retention, competitive, and product efforts. The role will partner with cross functional teams to identify key strategic areas of focus requiring tracking, reporting, and analytic support necessary to evaluate effectiveness. Collaborates with HQ/Division/Regional Leaders as well as cross-functional business partners in BIS/Reporting and FP&A. Lead efforts to standardize reporting and tools. Serves as subject matter expert and provides guidance to employees as required. Develops process and procedures to drive department efficiencies. Provides leadership and direction for team which may include multiple functional areas. May have responsibility for developing and managing budget. Core Responsibilities: - Identifies fact-based solution strategies for key business issues raised by clients to ensure that all important issues are addressed in fully and appropriately.- Determines when and how to use quantitative research tools and models and assists in interpretation and development of implications to address client business problems.- Develops and communicates goals, strategies, tactics, project plans, timelines, and key performance metrics to reach goals.- Creates and manages supporting and related business intelligence processes.- Develops and manages budget to ensure required resources are available.- Defines the information, reporting, and analytical needs of the company. Develops goals, strategies, and plans needed to achieve the vision.- Ensures business intelligence programs progress, status reviews, and corrective actions.- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Additional Responsibilities: - Partner with Sales & Marketing groups to identify key strategic areas of focus requiring tracking, reporting, and analytic support necessary to program effectiveness.- Tracks market trends, analyzes results, and draws conclusions about performance in order to recommend improvements to marketing strategies and tactics. - Partner on subscriber and financial modeling to size the expected impact of changes to marketing strategy.- Benchmark performance across regions and divisions with a focus on identifying best practices and areas of opportunity.- Prepare, analyze and distribute recurring and ad hoc reporting/analysis to monitor performance results.- Requires the ability to pull data from company financial and subscriber reporting systems and manipulate data for analysis. - Lead and participate in the creation of analytic/tracking reports to help provide insight, measurement and strategy.- Intermediate knowledge of SQL and Teradata.- Expert in Excel and other Microsoft office skills.- Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx preferred.
