Job Description- Account Executive

Intrepid Creative is looking for a “client whisperer” Account Executive to join our team. We work in a creative, exciting environment in our new state-of the-art 12,000 square foot studio. The job involves business communications, marketing, video production, and content creation for integrated campaigns and live events.

We’re searching for an experienced Account Executive who is looking to build his or her book of business and thrives on relationship-based sales and is comfortable in a hybrid role doing light Account Management.

The ideal candidate will be a high energy, self-starting team player who will focus on driving growth in new and existing accounts. They will posses strong client service, and interpersonal communication skills, and have a passion for success. They will also have strong persuasive writing skills, a friendly communication style and strong presentation and “pitching” skills.

The individual in this position must develop a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses.

  • You have highly developed listening and conversation skills to make connections, build relationships and are seen by our clients as a valued business partner that delivers insightful communication solutions.
  • You are good at prospecting– this includes everything from cold calling to email to social media marketing, the ability to think creatively and break through to decision makers for capabilities meetings.
  • Effectively target opportunities, prospect leads and build long-term relationships.
  • You have impeccable presentation skills, are confident and can work a room.
  • You are a client advocate and can create an environment of trust and confidence in your team.
  • You are comfortable liaising between client and production teams.
  • You are organized, articulate and persuasive in both spoken and written communications.
  • You have exceptional client service skills.
  • You have 5 years of experience selling services, preferably in an integrated creative agency and/or production company.
  • Experience selling to senior level managers and executives in the technology, healthcare or consumer industries.
  • Large-scale event experience a plus.
  • BS/BA required. Graduate studies or creative background welcomed.
