JODS is a mobile equestrian boutique in search of a full time team member.
Founded in 2006 by two sisters, JODS is a retailer of high-quality equestrian apparel. It is an exclusively mobile and online boutique that travels to top hunter/jumper horse shows along the East Coast.
We spend 3 months in Wellington, FL, and travel to horse shows the rest of the year, primarily in Maryland, Virginia, New York, and Vermont. Please refer to show schedule at jodsonline.com/pages/calendar for exact schedule. An ideal candidate will be based in Wellington, FL area or DC area. Housing provided during travel outside of home territory.
Skills
- Friendly demeanor; pleasant and helpful to customers
- Maintain product knowledge and provide helpful information to customers; cross-sell products
- Self-starter; maintains store appearance and restocks merchandise without prompting
- Social media and photography skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Greeting, helping, and ringing out customers
- Inventory management and sales tracking
- Set up and break down store at horse shows, including loading and unloading products and fixtures (must be in good physical health and able to lift 30 lbs)
- Restocking and maintaining a neat, clean work environment
- Must be willing to travel and work weekends
The Perks
JODS provides a unique opportunity to be paid year-round while having several months off. We pay your regular salary bi-weekly, while only going to horse shows approximately 31 weeks per year. In addition, a sales bonus is paid out for every horse show which will add to salary substantially. We provide health insurance and retirement benefits.
You'll be working directly with the store owners, with plenty of opportunity for job growth, such as store management, product selection and ordering, and online retail growth.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
