Boeing Global Service is seeking a Program Management Senior Manager to support the Rapid Response Modification Center in San Antonio, TX.
This leadership position serves as the dedicated program leader for the Rapid Response Modification Center, bearing responsibility for business capture and execution strategy. This role has accountability and responsibility for establishing and maintaining both internal (across Boeing Global Services and the entire Boeing enterprise) and external partnerships, which will enable successful execution on Rapid Response maintenance and modification efforts, as well as growth in this area of the services market serving both defense and commercial customers.
Responsibilities include the following:
Rapid Response Modification-related proposal and execution initiatives including profit and loss responsibility.
Ensures program and technical approach/deliverables meet customer, company, quality, industry and regulatory requirements.
Reporting on progress of major proposals and projects including risks, opportunities, governance, metrics, etc.
Leadership in a cross-functional environment including: Sales & Marketing, Contract Execution, Critical Customer Relationships, Intellectual Property Protection, Execution Quality, Business Process Modeling, Sub-Contractor Relationships.
Establish requirements and engage engineering, operations, test and evaluation in an agile work scope.
Quickly and effectively break down barriers to current execution - including in a classified environment.
Drive above plan growth by providing high value/high quality/rapid turn-around engineering and operations services.
Works with other senior leaders to streamline processes across organizational and functional boundaries.
Creates a culture of continuous improvement by communicating/deploying enterprise best practices and employee engagement to improve cost, quality, delivery, employee job satisfaction and customer satisfaction.
Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management and across a multi-disciplined, enterprise-wide team.
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Establishes vision and strategy for all execution initiatives.

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and capabilities.
This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
10 or more years of experience in a leadership role
Minimum 5 years of experience as a program manager, utilizing Program Management Best Practices
Experience with aircraft modification and sustainment
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, business or technical field
Creating a culture necessary to accelerate performance
Ability to work cross-functionally throughout the Enterprise
Persuasive ability to engage key stakeholders (both commercial and defense)
Exceptional knowledge of the organization's industry and its goal to achieve significant growth
Strong technical background in order to engage with mission-focused customers
Ability to manage risk to speed and agility of market and customer expectations.
Ability to leverage key sub-contractors, as well as ability to lead as a sub-contractor in the market space
Ability to lead and execute in a strong program management capacity
