Summary: Field Marketing Manager is responsible for the direction and supervision of the marketing field representative department. The Field Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with the entire Marketing Department to ensure an effective and consistent marketing and branding message and work with Gonzaba Medical Group (GMG) executive team and department leaders to implement marketing initiatives. The Field Marketing Manager will direct and supervise marketing field rep staff and teams. The Field Marketing Manager will build customer relationships, advise on available Gonzaba Medical Group (GMG) services and work directly with the Director of Customer Experience to support marketing initiatives and patient growth of managed care business.

Duties: • Supervise, develop, guide, and train field marketing team members. • Develop understanding of Gonzaba Medical Group product lines, story and culture. • Develop and maintain supportive, productive and effective relationships at all levels within the organization. • Provide support for promotional events, including evenings and weekends. • Work to raise awareness of what GMG represents to the community and the patient population. • Work to raise awareness of the multiple lines of business and what makes GMG unique as a patient centered healthcare organization.

1. Field Marketing Plan: • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to measure marketing outcomes and generate feedback. • Develop and maintain marketing database: Includes client data and marketing information, access to marketing reports, etc.

2. Senior Population Marketing: • Act as the point person for marketing services and external partner agent teams. The Manager will build and maintain relationships between insurance agent partners and Gonzaba Medical Group in working with our senior population to generate new patient enrollments. • Create and implement marketing initiatives to build collaborative relationships with agent partners with the goal of improved product awareness and increasing the enrollment of the senior patient population. • Maintain a working knowledge of Medicare Advantage, managed care, and healthcare industry trends, competition and new opportunities. • Track market and company Medicare Advantage enrollment performance, including Net Enrollments, number of Agent Partners, and Average Enrollments per agent. • Analyze performance of Agent Relations activities and prepare monthly report. • Determine product/service value delivered throughout customer operations and effectively communicate value to agents and customers to promote new applications and enrollments. • Assist in the Evaluation of customer / patient satisfaction to aid in patient retention. Work with patient retention champion on patient retention strategies.

3. Marketing Event planning: Participate in the development and execution of promotional activities, trade shows and health fairs to market products and services. • Grass roots marketing: community events, health fairs, and trade shows • Agent events: dinners, lunches • GMG events: employee events, provider events Supervisory Responsibilities: The Field Marketing Manager will supervise and direct all Field Marketing Department team members. The Field Marketing Manager will make staffing and hiring decisions within Field Marketing Department. The Field Marketing Manager will manage and train existing and new Field Marketing staff to build, train, and develop GMG Field Marketing staff in alignment with GMG core values to meet the goals of the department as well as the goals of the entire organization. All Field Marketing staff must be prepared to respond to the evolving marketing needs of Gonzaba Medical Group.


Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • The candidate should have at least 5-7 years marketing management experience. • Must have 5 years’ experience directly supporting a marketing team and experience managing marketing activities within a B2C environment. • Must demonstrate a proven ability to succeed in diverse marketing endeavors. • The candidate should be prepared to support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback, share best practices and serve as marketing information source for company. • Maintain efficient time management skills to ensure maximum customer contact and highest level of customer service. • Previous experience in senior care/marketing a plus • Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid preferred Skills: • Must have outstanding customer service skills and good people skills to work with people in a culturally diverse environment. • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills. • Must have knowledge and experience with marketing management practices to effectively lead a cohesive marketing team. • Must be a team player with high level of integrity. • Must be open to and skilled at accepting and delivering feedback. • Must have a demonstrated history of successfully achieving goals, objectives; success in meeting deadlines in a timely manner. • Must be skilled at self-direction through working with action planning. • Must have a strong work ethic; must be assertive, decisive and results-oriented.

Computer Skills: Strong knowledge in word-processing, Excel, Access, Outlook, spreadsheets, database and Internet software. Adobe creative suite (Photo Shop, PDF, Indesign, Illustrator) preferred.
