Wine Enterprises is currently seeking experienced and fiercely competitive Wine Sales Representatives throughout New Jersey to represent our extensive and diverse portfolio of Portuguese wines. Wine Enterprises is a small family owned wine importer and distributor established for nearly 20 years in the state of New Jersey. We are an innovative wine importer, a company that strives to bring customers and winemakers together through direct-to-business distribution. We offer a unique, superb and diverse portfolio of over 90 wines and ports from across all regions in Portugal.

As our Wine Sales Representative, you will…

-Cold call on independent accounts to give successful presentations for decision-making buyers that result in the sales of wine

-Meet and exceed goal expectations white effectively selling the White Y Tinto portfolio and fulfilling designated account run management objectives

-Plan and execute a daily schedule of sales calls per a pre-determined account run

-Have fun selling vast amounts of wine to the top independent accounts in your region

-Improve the marketability of Wine Enterprises products thru product placement, display positioning, and concept selling

-Effectively plan in the short and long term to archive sales goals and grow your territory

-Go above and beyond with your account management skills to delight customers

If you are the ideal candidate, you…

-Are truly passionate about selling and have specific knowledge of how to sell wine

-Have a high level of Portuguese wine knowledge

-Have a proven record of accomplishment of managing complex customer relationships

-Have prior wine sales experience, geographic knowledge and account relationships in the designated territory

-Can naturally and successfully influence and negotiate

To meet the job requirements, you must:

-Be present and punctual for mandatory sales meetings and brand kick-offs

-Have the ability to close the sale

-Have skills to effectively interact with customers

-Be well organized, self-motivated, with the ability to work independently

-Take instruction, be coachable and apply proven selling techniques

-Be comfortable calling on existing and prospective clients to set wine tastings

-Have reliable transportation

-Possess a NJ State Driver’s License

-Carry a case of wine, up to 40 lbs. if necessary
