Title: Administrative Assistant II
Reports To: Director of Underwriting
Department: Real Estate Investments & Capital Markets

Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant II has primary responsibility to provide administrative and technical support to Atlanta Housing’s Underwriting Team, under direction of the Director of Underwriting. In addition the skills and expertise utilized to support the responsibilities outlined below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create, manage and maintain various reports for Underwriting Team
Compile feasibility analyses for presentations internally and externally
Maintaining database of real estate transactions and development pipelines as it relates to the Underwriting Team’s tasked activities.
Update and maintain financial models for underwriting
Liaise between Development Executives and Underwriters ensuring team timeline goals are met effectively.
Manage meeting schedule for the Director of Underwriting and team internally and externally.
Provide administrative support to the Underwriting team.
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Director Underwriting

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Financial modeling skills is a plus
Proficiency in Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint and Word, and ability to learn other software as needed
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient with Internet research
Highly organized and high attention to detail
Ability to accurately and productively handle multiple tasks during time sensitive situations
Ability and willingness to work extended hours or weekends to meet deadlines when appropriate

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (prefer finance, business and/or real estate concentration)
1-2 years of experience in Finance, Real Estate or related field preferred

Working Conditions
Generally works in office environment. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work in a deadline-focused and pressure-driven environment. Lifting not usually to exceed 20 pounds. May be required to have valid State of Georgia driver’s license and be fully insurable for the purpose of obtaining clearance on company “Authorized Driver’s List.” Occasional overtime as required to meet workload demands.
