Position Summary:
Normandy Park is an 80-bed Assisted Living Community, with a stand alone 20-bed Memory Care facility. Our community offers a welcoming, home-like atmosphere filled with natural light, bright open spaces, and beautiful surroundings in the heart of Normandy Park. With dedicated, compassionate staff, we prioritize resident well-being and exceptional service.
The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for leading the sales and community outreach efforts to achieve occupancy and sales targets for Normandy Park. This role focuses on building relationships with prospective residents and their families, strengthening ties with local referral sources, and establishing Normandy Park as the preferred Senior Living Community in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Identify target markets and demographics for prospective residents.
- Implement marketing initiatives, including outreach, events, advertising, and digital campaigns.
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive in the local market.
Lead Management & Conversion:
- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation through conversion to move-in.
- Conduct tours, phone calls, and in-person consultations with potential residents and their families.
- Maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, doctors, senior service providers, and community organizations.
- Track and report on leads, conversions, and sales metrics using CRM systems.
Relationship Building with Prospective Residents & Families:
- Build trusting and compassionate relationships with prospective residents and their families, addressing concerns, needs, and objections, and guide them through the decision-making process to create an exceptional move in experience.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the community, always ensuring a positive and professional representation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding the expectations of potential residents and families.
- Collaborate with the care and management teams to ensure the resident experience aligns with expectations set during the sales process.
Community Engagement & Networking:
- Build relationships with local healthcare providers, senior organizations, and other influencers to generate referrals and foster community awareness.
- Attend local networking events, expos, and senior living fairs to represent the community.
- Plan and host community events, tours, and open houses to generate interest and engagement.
Social Media Management:
- Ensure social media aligns with sales targets, focusing on driving leads and customer engagement and ultimately conversions.
- Manage social media posts to ensure there is quality content posted 2-3 times per week that resonates with your audience and drives sales opportunities.
- Engage directly with customers through social media to develop and nurture relationships and drive SEO.
- Increase SEO optimization by ensuring we have updated content on community website monthly at minimum.
Team Leadership:
- Training associates/team members on proper process for phone inquiries and tours.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and management team to align sales strategies with community goals.
- Participate in routine sales meetings with Executive Director & Nightingale team to report on goals, strategies, and progress.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Regularly review occupancy, sales, and marketing activity reports in CRM to track performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Executive Director and Regional team based on sales data and market analysis.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare management, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preference for sales experience in the senior living market. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of the senior living industry, including regulations and care options, is a plus.

Schedule requirements:
Ability to be flexible in your schedule for the occasional after hours events, tours and client meetings.
Primarily an on-site role with frequent local travel for networking and community engagement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
