We are currently seeking a strategic-minded individual who will collaborate with Deloitte Consulting’s core practice to explore new hybrid offering ideas from both a business and high-level technical perspective to assess their potential value and build feasibility.

This position will also contribute to the evaluation of early-stage hybrid offering ideas, as part of a broader team, to shape new concepts and develop initial business cases supporting investment.

The Team:
Deloitte Platforms is an organization within Deloitte Consulting with the goal of building a culture of continuous innovation to drive profitable revenue through the identification, incubation, and actualization of breakthrough ideas in assets-based hybrid offerings.

The Ideation and Strategy team within Deloitte Platforms is responsible for asset portfolio management, idea intake and initial shaping, investment strategy and evaluation, Network stakeholder engagement and management, and providing inputs to investment reporting as needed.

Work You’ll Do:
As part of the Ideation and Strategy team within Deloitte Platforms, you will evaluate both the business and high-level technical feasibility aspects of new asset opportunities that will ultimately complement our services in the form of a hybrid offering. This evaluation includes such responsibilities as:

Collaborate with technical and non-technical Network stakeholders at varying levels to deeply understand the market size, market demand, business requirements and high-level technical requirements for new or existing asset concepts
Translate the asset concept into clear business requirements and high-level technical requirements to assess build feasibility, delivery model, and fit
Perform market sizing and competitive analysis to understand market potential of new concepts
Assess the financial business case and the business model for new asset concepts
Conduct gap analysis of current to target state business architecture (in case of existing assets) and develop a point of view on high-level roadmap considerations to achieve target state
Roll all assessment and analysis into the creation of investment business cases for potential assets, and present material clearly to a variety of stakeholders at varying levels and technical aptitudes
Recommend the best possible go-forward approach for the concept

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or a related field
2+ years of software assets strategy and/ or business model and technical evaluation experience, including quantitative and qualitative experience assessing software assets or investments
2+ years of experience working in a software assets environment in or closely with technical roles, preferably involving analytics or SaaS
Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements, and assess various build options to recommend the best available solution
Seasoned understanding of technology-based businesses, including business models, technical components of the stack, and modern software development processes
Strong analytical skillset combined with the ability to synthesize findings into leadership-level business recommendations
Proven ability to successfully partner with internal senior stakeholders from various parts of the organization, with varying degrees of technical aptitude, and drive successful outcomes cross-functionally
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to juggle many competing priorities/ deadlines
Willingness to travel as required (up to 20%)
