Description:
Madison Telecommunications is seeking individuals to install Fiber-Optic and Internet/Phone services. The ideal candidate must have basic IT and/or Network knowledge, be a self-starter, well organized, and have an exceptional eye for detail. Fiber, cable, and/or internet installation and network support experience is a major plus.
Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Installation and/or repair of internet and phone services. Install and configure all customer equipment (Routers, Modems, Phone Systems, etc.) Technical support. Always maintain a clean/organized vehicle and workspace. Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers/supervisors, and sales team. Be available to answer after-hours tech support calls on a rotating schedule. Excellent customer service skills.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift weights up to 75 lbs. Ability to carry a 28' ladder from truck to pole and/or house. Working in all weather conditions. Walking & sitting/kneeling & crouching.
Must be able to pass a drug screening. Must have a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
